Here’s a short look at ChainSim—an interactive simulation where students experience real supply chain decisions in action. From sourcing and production to inventory, delivery, and profit.
In this simulation, students manage the supply chain of a small manufacturing company over 15 simulated days, with each course or session completed in approximately 45 minutes of real time. It can be played individually or as a team.
Let’s take a look.

Log in to the Teacher’s View

After logging in, you can create a simulation and select different parameters to adjust the complexity of the simulation.

Create a Game

After creating a new game, you can share the game PIN with your students. They can play the simulation individually or in teams.

Let Students Play

While students are playing, they must consider all the simulation parameters you have selected and you can create dozens of different versions/levels of ChainSim.

Collect Results and give Feedback

All student results are saved and collected in the teacher’s view, allowing you to assess performance and assign grades. Easy to track each student’s or team’s performance.

Include ChainSim in your course

In this way, you can fill an entire semester with different ChainSim tasks and use them as homework, additional exercises, or engaging challenges between students or teams.
